Some things taste delicious but deliver a huge sugar crash afterwards; you don’t have time for that. Other things taste amazing and keep that energy kicking for hours to come: that’s what you want at your baddie style party.

Guest participation is all about how you’d like your guests to participate or contribute to your party. As I mentioned above, one example is inviting everyone to BYOB or bring a snack to share. 1. Confirm that your fellow baddies can come on any chosen date.
- Choose party date/time, and any potential alternative date(s) as well
- Choose guest list and establish minimum number of guests to make it worth your effort
- Four to six weeks out, confirm guests’ interest in the party and availability on chosen party date(s). The only details you’ll need to share at this time include what type of party it will be (pink baddie style); any requested participation (i.e. bring a bite/drink, dress the look, etc.); party date and general time of day; and your address (or other location if elsewhere)
- This first step is just to get people to confirm that they’re able and willing to attend and will save the date, since there’s no point in any further planning until you know you have a viable party attendance. But once your preferred minimum number of guests confirm interest and availability, have them lock-in the date and get ready to plan away!
2. Proceed with the fun planning.
Once you have your pink baddie party date established, you need to get out your calendar and map out when you plan to do every step of preparation. This is important because if you don’t schedule time on your calendar early enough, you may find yourself overwhelmed and unprepared the day of the party. Nobody has time for that! - Create invitations with all the details and send them out 4 weeks before the party
- Order any party supplies and decorations 3 weeks out (so they arrive in time to set up)
- Shop in person for any party supplies/decorations that you don’t order online, and also for any non-perishable food/drinks
- DIY any party supplies and decorations that you want to tackle with your own creative skills
- Acquire perishable food/drinks early enough in advance to prepare in time (but not so early that they go bad first – save your strawberries ‘til a few days before, or later)
- Set up decorations
- Prepare food/drinks (time this according to what can be made in advance and how long it stays fresh)
3. Day of Party
It’s important to get as much party prep done beforehand as possible so you have some time to relax come party day, especially if you’ve had a busy week. You should therefore also plan your day-of-party preparations early enough in the day to have that time and space before the party begins. So within those set-aside time slots, plan to do these preparations during the day of your party:
- Complete any last-minute food/drink prep that are too fresh to do any earlier (i.e. dishes that include avocados, for instance)
- Set up any quick/easy last-minute supplies and decorations that aren’t already up
- Get playlist ready to go and speakers out, and set out any candles or other scent sources
- Get dressed in your favourite pink baddie style party outfit
